Rozenn
  • Rozenn is a social documentary photographer specialised in ethno-photography.
  • She has been published in various magazines and book compilations worldwide through ANA Agency in France and Rex Features in London.
  • Since 10 years, Rozenn travelled to Asia, Africa, South America, Central America, and North America in order to capture locals’ expressions in their native environment.
  • Her major focus is the study folk festivals, which show the immense diversity and originality of world cultures. She hopes to increase worldwide respect by showing how these cultures maintain an intense passion for ancestral tradition in the face of globalisation.
  • Since 2001, Rozenn was awarded prizes:
  • In the Grand Documentary Award 2009 of the Humanity Photo Award, jointly organized by the China Folklore Photographic Association (CFPA), the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), with her work entitled “Togo’s Funeral” and a nomination for her work on the holy week in Sicily.
  • In the Wanderlust Professionnal Travel Photo Competition 2007, with her work concerning the indigenous people of Papua.
  • In the two categories “Social & Editorial” and “Overall” 2001 Fujifilm competition
  • Besides travel work, Rozenn works freelance social and events photography in London, Switzerland, Belgium, and France.
